  • Crabbing Competition Cancelled

We regret to inform you that the Crabbing Competition scheduled for Saturday, July 27, at Roome Bay has been cancelled. This decision follows a recent Health and Safety assessment that identified increased algae in the water, making the environment too slippery for safe crabbing activities. This news may be disappointing, particularly for our younger festival-goers eagerly anticipating the competition. We share in your disappointment, but the safety of our participants is our top priority, and we wouldn't want to proceed with the event if there's a potential risk. Full refunds will automatically be processed for all tickets within 24 hours. No further action is required. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used for booking. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. We look forward to welcoming you to future Crail Crabbers events in 2025.
