About the event

Plenty of laughs will be in store as legendary Scottish funnyman Fred MacAulay performs here at the Crail Festival.  Known for his mixture of satire and observational comedy, Fred has been at the forefront of the UK comedy scene for over 30 years.  This will be a welcome chance for fans to catch up with Fred's views on what's going on in the world.

Expect to hear more tales of lockdown weddings, gags about complying with the regulations, getting back to work after a long lay-off, things that bound us together …. (like finding out that your bottle bins were too small), the tribulations of getting a train ticket refund, nuisance phone calls …… and ….. OH YES…….becoming a grandparent.!!

Regarded as one of the top Scottish comics of his generation, on national BBC Television, he has been a panellist on shows including Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News For You.

"Rib-achingly funny, one of the funniest men alive" Sunday Times

Join us for a brilliant night of entertainment with Fred!

We will also hold a raffle during the evening, for which you can purchase tickets.
