Nicole Smit came into the scene in 2014 when she joined the Fringe show Blues! and began performing professionally. She toured with Blueswater, joined Cow Cow Boogie, and started hosting her own Fringe show Queens of the Blues. Amidst all of this, two main threads of focus appeared. The first is SMITTEN, a trio writing, recording and touring original material. The second, Nicole & The Backup Crew, a rhythm & blues outfit born out of the Queens show line up, amplified for regular high energy performances all around Scotland.
